The Pick-Up Theorist

I enjoy most things pretty and witty, and I hope my collage art is a bit of both.

Ilinca Barsan has a soft spot for philosophy, painfully bad puns and smoked salmon. But her hugely successful art project, The Pick-Up Theorist, sadly doesn't have anything to do with cured, pink fish. The artist who was born in Bucharest, grew up in Germany and is now based in Edinburgh, creates collages that pair the world’s greatest thinkers with a pick-up line. Let’s be honest, who hasn’t dreamt of being hit on by Albert Camus?
